Inside Aerospace—An International Forum for Aviation and Space Leaders

14 - 15 May 2007
Doubletree Hotel Crystal City
Arlington, Virginia

Inside Aerospace—An International Forum for Aviation and Space Leaders will bring together aviation leaders from the United States and abroad for a frank discussion of the industry’s future and increasingly complex present.

Organized by the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA)—the world’s forum for aerospace leadership—this international policy conference features two days of provocative dialogue on recent aviation successes, impacts of globalization, and the expected changes that will occur in the next decade. Focusing on the theme of Harmonizing Aviation: A Global Challenge, recognized leaders in aviation will discuss the issues in four panel sessions:

-Vision for the Future of Commercial Aviation
-Vision for the Future of Military Aviation Operations
-The Changing Role of the Industrial Supplier Base in Aerospace
-Direction of Future Research in Aviation

Keynote addresses by high-level government representatives and business leaders highlight an exciting program geared toward executives, management, and other decision-makers from government, industry, and academia.

Special events include the AIAA Fellows Dinner on Monday evening, 14 May (by invitation only), and the AIAA Aerospace Spotlight Awards Gala on Tuesday evening, 15 May. These signature annual events bring aerospace luminaries together to recognize the most influential and inspiring individuals in the industry. This year, attendees are invited to participate in a special Aerospace America roundtable, Impediments to Globalization, on Tuesday, 15 May.
